Ok my friends, it's officially really (REALLY) cold outside. It's times like this when I get cravings to stay indoors and curl up under a cozy blanket with a book. I've built up quite a reading list over the past few months, and up until now the weather has been too nice to spend free time indoors reading. Even though I'm in two book clubs, the books at the top of my list are actually unrelated to our assigned books for this month (whoops...). Before I joined these book clubs a couple years ago, I had gone through a relatively long period when I hadn't read any books for pleasure, and that was no fun. Being in book clubs gets me all excited about reading, but I end up most eager to read books that I come across while I'm looking to purchase my assigned books for the month. Here's a list of some books at the top of my list for this winter: The Fault In Our Stars by John Green, Dad Is Fat by Jim Gaffigan, Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan, Drive by Daniel Pink, and This One Is Mine by Maria Semple (I loved Where'd You Go, Bernadette!). What books are on your reading list for this winter?
